All babies are miracles, they really are. It’s even more special when you get to photograph your brand new nephew, and he's just so perfect. Meet our little Dexter at just 8 days old. 

This beautiful and amazing newborn baby boy has stolen my heart and made me an aunt for the first time. It was a total dream come true. Planning for his session was such fun and gave me an excuse to invest in a few more beautiful props for the studio. I had Dexters session planned since my brother announced that he was going to be a first time daddy, I knew I could go to town on what images we would capture for my brother and his family.

If anything this gallery truly represents the style of images I adore to capture, warm colours, organically natural with very minimal props. Baby Dex came to visit the portrait studio for his newborn photography session at just under 8 days old, because he was so fresh he slept like a dream during the entire session! If I could encourage all clients to come to the studio this early I would, he honestly was so easy to work with at this age.
