Hi, I’m Victoria, the passionate photographer behind the internationally acclaimed Blue Bean Photography. With over 14 years of experience, I specialize in capturing the delicate beauty of newborns and the heartfelt connections in family portraits across Derby, Leicester, and Greater Birmingham. My goal is to create timeless images that you’ll treasure, turning fleeting moments into lasting memories displayed proudly in your home.

My journey began in 2001, where I developed my skills in e-commerce, digital design, and web development for major high street retailers. This background sharpened my eye for detail and fueled my creativity. However, as my family grew, I felt a deep desire to pivot toward a career that would allow me to nurture both my creativity and my family life. That’s when I discovered my true calling in photography.

In 2010, during my second pregnancy, I explored newborn photography, which quickly evolved from a personal interest into a passion. The joy of capturing those precious early moments inspired me to launch the Blue Bean Photography Studio. Since then, it’s been an incredible journey transforming my vision into a successful studio, where I create stunning newborn portraits, celebrate the beauty of maternity, and document life’s milestones. Meeting and working with so many wonderful families has been the highlight of my career. In recent years, I completed my Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Special Educational Needs and now also work privately as a consultant practitioner. This path was inspired by my own journey after one of my children was diagnosed with autism, which deepened my understanding of SEN and sparked a desire to better support children with special needs.
