To reserve your session, a £50 booking fee is required. This secures your time in the studio and reflects the care, expertise, and artistry that goes into creating your portraits. The fee is then credited towards your chosen collection, with the remaining balance settled on the day of your session.

Additional digital files may be purchased for £25 per image, and complete gallery upgrade packages are also available.
If you would like to book a session within you own home, there is an additional £100 charge on top of your chosen collection secured the time of booking.
Due to time restrictions, your family dog may be included within in the Premium Collection only, but this must be prearranged with Victoria at the time of booking.
'Buy Now Pay Later' - PayPal Pay in 3 is an interest-free loan that lets you split your chosen collection into 3 payments, with the first due on the day of your photoshoot and subsequent payments due every month on the same date. Just request an invoice at the time of booking for us to set this up.
WHY CHOOSE BLUE BEAN PHOTOGRAPHY?
I am a specialist trained newborn photographer with over 15 years of experience, having photographed over 2000 newborn babies in my career, so you can have the peace of mind that your baby is in safe hands. I pay a great importance to each client and their requests, and I make sure they are happy and fully informed throughout the booking and studio process. The sessions are baby led, meaning that there will be no pressure whatsoever in achieving certain poses if your baby doesn't take to it.
BOOKING YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
I recommend booking newborn sessions well in advance if possible to secure a spot especially in busy months, your booking may be made by contacting me directly via the enquiry form at the bottom of this page. The best time to contact me is before you have your baby, I recommend booking for your newborn photoshoot after your 20 week scan and I will then add you to my calendar around your expected due date and send newborn session details. Once you have booked you are guaranteed availability, and when baby finally arrives we will arrange exact day of the newborn photo shoot, ideally when your baby is between 7-28 days old. Although, this is the best time to photograph babies, you don't have to worry if your baby is a little older as I photograph newborns up to 6 weeks of age, this shouldn't stop you having your treasured memories. Just be aware that the baby will be more alert and awake and less flexible to be positioned into certain poses.
WHAT IF BABY COMES EARLIER THAN PLANNED?
I am aware that babies can arrive earlier or later than planned, don't worry I expect this. I usually leave plenty of room in my diary for these unexpected changes in arrival, we are able to adjust the date of the session and you won't miss the 21 day window. All you have to do is to get in touch and let me know once baby has arrived so I can plan the studio diary accordingly.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION
At the forefront of your newborn photo shoot is the importance to your baby’s safety and well being throughout the duration of the photoshoot by providing a warm, comfortable environment, also allowing you to feed or change the baby as many times as necessary. Each session requires a lot of patience and handling, so relax, sit back and allow me work my magic. During the session pee and poo is to be expected so don't worry or be embarrassed as it's absolutely natural. Babies will have fussy moments and that's just fine, I will try various tried and tested soothing techniques and allow time for the baby to settle. Sometimes, depending on the pose I will ask the parents to assist in order keep the baby safe whilst I take the magic shot.
