NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING MADE EASY & AFFORDABLE
Are you a professional photographer who has perhaps given newborn photography a go and not had much success or are currently stuck in a rut? Perhaps you are an enthusiastic amateur who is looking to take up newborn photography professionally. My training days may be just what you are looking for. Do you want to know the top tips and tricks for getting sleepy babies and how to carry out a session safely? Perhaps you would like help with lighting or editing images sensitively and naturally?
Training takes place either in my studio in Ashby de La Zouch in the East Midlands or at your own studio location. I request a £200 deposit payable upon booking to secure your training day with me. Topics covered include: Preparing for the session, posing, lighting, workflow, styling, editing and business advice. Training includes ongoing support via email and WhatsApp for 6 months to help you with any questions that arise as you put your learning into practice with clients and models.
All deposits are non-refundable and payment is required in full 4 weeks prior to the day of your training.

My training days have been described as a great first step on the ladder and I have helped many photographers get their photography businesses off the ground, not only through boosting confidence in posing but also by offering honest business and strategic advice.
There is a strong emphasis on safety at all training sessions and I am passionate about raising standards in newborn photography. In the session I will cover everything I do from preparing the session, the lighting and equipment I use, business marketing through to post processing editing.
1:1 MENTORING TRAINING SESSIONS
All of my 1:1 mentoring sessions cover the topics mentioned above, and I also spend time focusing on each student’s particular needs. That way, we can concentrate on the areas in which you feel you need the most support and assistance.
Being a newborn photographer and mentor is both a rewarding and privileged role and I love being able to share my knowledge with like-minded people to help them to realise their dreams.

Another key part of my workshops is Business and Marketing. In this part of the training, I’ll show you how to market yourself with confidence, attract the right kind of clients, and price your work in a way that actually supports your business and your lifestyle. Are you unsure where to begin your newborn photography career? A "Fly-on-the-Wall" taster session is the perfect opportunity for aspiring photographers to learn by observing a real, live session with clients. This unique experience allows beginners to come and see firsthand how a professional handles the intricacies of newborn photography, from client interaction to shot setup and managing lighting and props.

This is a hands-on, no-fluff day where you’ll learn real, proven strategies from my 15+ years in the industry, so you can fast-track your success and avoid the common mistakes that hold photographers back.

Newborn Training Day
Newborn training takes place at my Midlands studio. You will be taught how to prepare for a session, newborn posing, lighting, learn a practical baby and family workflow along with setup styling.
