Why I've Changed the Way I Deliver Your Newborn Photography Gallery After 15 Years?

When I opened Blue Bean Photography back in 2010, I never imagined I'd need to think about protecting my work from AI or image theft. I simply wanted to create beautiful photographs for lovely families. Fifteen years later, that hasn't changed. My focus is still exactly the same. The only difference is that I'm making sure your memories, and the work that creates them, are protected for many years to come.

For over 15 years, I've delivered thousands of newborn photography galleries in much the same way, view online viewing galleries. The process worked well, it was familiar, and for many years there was very little reason to change it.

Sadly, times have changed. One of the biggest challenges photographers now face isn't cameras, editing or social media. It's image theft.

Why photographers are changing the way they deliver online galleries

If you've booked a newborn photography session with me before, you'll probably remember receiving an online gallery where you could browse your images before choosing your favourites. Unfortunately, over the last few years I've seen a significant increase in people taking screenshots or downloading watermarked preview images rather than purchasing the high resolution files.

I completely understand that the vast majority of my clients would never consider doing this. They value the time, skill and care that goes into creating their baby's photographs.

Unfortunately, it only takes a small number of people to create a problem.

With modern phones producing incredibly sharp screenshots and AI tools making it easier than ever to remove watermarks, the traditional gallery systems that photographers have relied on for years are no longer offering the protection they once did.

After a lot of research, I've decided to move all of my client galleries to SafeFrame.
